The 4520 model is a lightweight, triaxial piezoelectric accelerometer. Excluding the Microtech-compatible 4-pin connector mounted on the side, its dimensions are approximately 9.1 mm square. It has three independent signal outputs to simultaneously measure three orthogonal directions. Due to its adhesive mounting and lightweight design, it is suitable for modal testing. The 4520 model features a sealed structure. It has a shared structure, and the piezo elements undergo shear deformation. Two slices of piezoelectric material are mounted on either side of the central post. This design offers high linearity and low base strain sensitivity, with minimal influence from temperature changes.
